All aboard the holiday hype train, the Book-A-Thon is back! Join us for 10 days of livestreams, videos, and special events celebrating the holiday season in style, all in support of children in need.
Enjoy a special schedule of gaming, community events, and collaborations as we celebrate the holiday season, the only way we know how- create incredible memories and do a little good along the way.
Every book will be sent to a children’s hospital, a school district, a family in need, or another worthy cause. If you’d like to support our mission to deliver meaningful life tips in a video game world, consider pledging a book today!

What is a “Book-A-Thon?”
The “Book-a-thon” idea was inspired by the more traditional ‘telethon’ concept; a mad dash to raise money for a particular cause. Instead of promoting Twitch subscriptions or a specific reason, Pro Gamer’s Guide will send the books across our established and growing network of charitable causes!
Last year, we delivered over 400 books to children’s hospitals and charitable causes worldwide. This year, we hope to make an even greater impact!
Where will the books go?
This year, we’re happy to partner with Toys for Tots Middlesex County (Northeast Region of Massachusetts), Everett Public Schools (Everett, Massachusetts), Boys Town National Research Hospital (Boys Town, NE), and more!
We’ll list more organisations as book deliveries are fully funded.
In 2024, we sent books to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (Memphis, TN), Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital (Nashville, TN), Children’s Hospital Colorado (Colorado Springs, CO), Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA), and more! In January 2025, we plan to release a full report on the total number of books pledged, where they went, and any additional details about the event for complete transparency.

How many books will be delivered to each location?
A complete book delivery generally consists of the following:
30 Paperback and/or Hardcover Editions of Pro Gamer’s Guide to Healthy Habits, and Pro Gamer’s Guide to Making Friends
10 Paperback Editions of Pro Gamer’s Guide to Coloring
15 Sticker Sheets
A complete book delivery costs $650 (includes cost of goods, shipping, handling, insurance, supplies, and other miscellaneous expenses)
We’ve learned that some hospitals prefer paperback over hardcover or do not accept sticker sheets due to the nature of the materials. In those cases, we’ll include other goodies to match the delivery's value as closely as possible.
Where does the money go?
All funds raised through this book drive go directly toward supporting Pro Gamers Guide. There are no charges to participating organizations or donors for shipping, handling, or any other costs. Every book will be delivered as a gift-in-kind on behalf of the community, and each donor will have their name included in the final book delivery. We will not claim any form of tax exemption on these deliveries- we’re just raising money to do good during the holiday season!
